Community Engagement

As Raritan River Music begins its second quarter century of service to the community, we are proud to report that our efforts have been recognized through features in the media throughout the region and beyond, including Chamber Music Magazine, The New York Times, WWFM, NJTV, and the Emmy Award-winning State of the Arts.

RRM’s educational enrichment presentations encourage the students’ creativity, spark a life-long interest in music, broaden comprehension of cultural, historical, and scientific aspects of their world, and develop critical thinking skills and understanding of issues such as tolerance, acceptance, cultural diversity, and teamwork. The children’s response is overwhelmingly positive. For some of them, it is the only live, classical music they have ever heard. We are constantly touched by the letters we receive from students and their teachers and school administrators.
